Club Information

Out of passion for this beautiful breed, we used our knowledge and spare time to set up a clear and informative website about this beautiful and special breed.

Our Goal

The goals of the International Siberian Cat Club is to give the Siberian Cat and the colorpoint variation Neva Masquerade the attention it deserves. We think it is very important to promote responsible breeding and providing information about the breed.

If you’re looking for information, a kitten, a breeder, available replace or a stud male, just ask us and we are here for you and your cats. It is important to carefully consider the blood lines, as so not to flood the country with the same lines. To keep the natural breed of the Siberian, free of genetic diseases and other genetic problems, it is essential that you have your cats tested for HCM, PKD, FIV and FeLV.

Another goal is to keep each other posted where necessary, and to help each other in a fun way to preserve this breed and keep it healthy. We do not accept cross breedings with other breeds, as we all have one thing in common, the lover for the Siberian cat.

Becoming a member

You can! It is free here with us, the only thing we ask is that you place our banner as a link on your website.

Our regulations: Preserving the breed as it has existed for years, free from genetic diseases and other genetic problems. We require you have your cats tested for FIV and FeLV. We advise you to also test your cats for HCM and PKD.

We don’t accept people that have “accicdental breedings” as you bump into more and more these days on the internet (because a cat like that with a pedigree must be coming from a cattery!).

We as cattery’s spend a lot of money to guarantee the health of our breed, the owners of actual breeding litters only think about their wallet. In the USA these breeders are known as kitten mills. Often these kittens leave their mother way too early and can have serious genetic problems.

Don’t provide any stud services with another breed. We have been able to preserve the breed as it is. Sure enough there are some rotten apples, but so far we have been able to make things quite difficult for them.

A few years down the road it will be too late to actually fix that problem. That is not our intention as breeders, we want the best for our breed and our kittens. Let us join together for the good of the Siberian breed while we still can, in a few years we will be too late and this beautiful breed will be spoiled as well.

We ask that you keep us posted about changed that took place. We’d like to prevent kittens being on the kitten page that already have been sold, or a stud male, that is no longer available. We’d like to keep the site up to date for visitors.

Tips or news: Your tips and news can be very important. It is always great to keep fellow breeders and Siberian lovers posted about everything that’s going on. For example you could proudly share that you have purchased a cat or kitten. Feel free to share the joy!

Pictures: Here you can share funny, special and beautiful pictures with each other. Of course your cattery name will be added to the picture.

Show results: Here you can share how your cat did at shows. That doesn’t always mean your cat won any prizes but a U1 or a nice report is great as well. Maybe you also have some nice pictures you’re willing to share with others. It’s always nice to know how Siberian cats do at the shows. This way we also get to know each other, and what is more fun to actually meet at a cat show and admire each other’s cats.

Colors and markings: If you have a clear picture of a color or marking, please send it in with the name of your cat, your cattery and we will add your picture.

Your attention please!
