Dear Siberian Cat
lovers, We, founders of the Siberian Cat Club, would like to
introduce ourselves. Bianca van Lith both
have a cattery with both Traditional and Colorpoint (Neva
Masquerade) Siberians, and we have been breeding Ragdolls
for years.
We work in a
personal, non-commercial way.
I don’t have
full time job outside of our home. With a cattery there is
always work to be done but it happens in a fun loving way.
Because I'm always home I have all the time in the world
to be occupied with being responsible breeder. My kittens
are raised underfoot as a part of our family, and are well
socialized. Because the breed of the Siberian cat hasn’t
been in The Netherlands for that long yet, it is also not
very well know, and you really can’t find all information
about this breed on one particular website. That’s why I
want to give the Siberian Cat and the Colorpoint variation
the Neva Masquerade the attention that it deserves. This way
I can also give information to Siberian cat lovers and
breeders.
Our goal is to
gather all Siberian Cat lovers and work with each other in a
fun way rather than working against each other. We all have
one thing in common, which is our love for Siberians, and in
order to keep each other posted we reserved the news page.
Send us your news and before you know it, it will be posted
on the news page. You can share anything with us on the news
page, for example a proud announcement of a cat or kitten
purchase would fit on there very well. You can also send in
funny or special pictures. On the show page you can proudly
show your cat’s show results. That doesn’t always mean that
your cat must have final led or won prizes, a U1 or great
report is fantastic as well. It is always great for others
to know how Siberians do at cat shows. This way we all get
to know each other a little bit, and can it will be fun to
actually meet at some point at a cat show.
You are probably
wondering what the rules and regulations are to join this
fun loving club. That is very easy. We don’t like too many
rules and regulations to begin with, so you can join for
free as long as you test your cats for FIV / FeLV. We all
want to preserve the health of this wonderful breed, free of
genetic diseases and other genetic problems. Therefore we
highly recommend testing for PKD and HCM as well.
I would appreciate
it if you would leave us a message in our guest book. If
you’d like to speak with one of us in person, please feel
free to contact us.
